Gurevicius was the Litvak name of the families known elsewhere as Gurvitch, Horowitz and other similar variants - including Hourwich, which is what my great-grandfather became when he emigrated from Russia to the US via France in 1890. You can see a photo of him here: [link] .
I am known elsewhere on dA as *Wodewose: this secondary gallery, beginning in Vilnius where the Gurevicius clan originated, is an experiment in a different style, a slightly different artistic outlook. I hope you approve.
